After Care

I understand as part of any beauty treatments procedures  if I experience any of any issues  I’ll contact a salon 0161 881 0009 and consult this problem and immediate solution.

GlycolicPeel Facial & Dermalogica Facial & Microdermabrasion

• Avoid using Glycolic products on the day of you facial. Wait 24 hours before resuming their use.

• Do not apply any other exfoliating skincare products for 72 hours after having a Facial

• No sweating for 24 hours i.e. gym workouts , sauna etc, because it can sweat the skin care facial products out of the skin, which can cause irritation.

• Use of glycolic products, throughout the course of peels, to keep skin acclimatised to the product & also increases effectiveness of the peels.

• Make up application is not permitted for 24 hours after a peel, however a mineral based make up is acceptable immediately afterwards as it won’t clog your pores or irritate skin.

• A daily mineral sunscreen SPF 20 + is absolutely essential, which protect skin from the suns damaging rays.

• Stay away from direct sunlight/sunbeds and heat e.g. saunas for 48 hours after having a facial

• Facial Do not apply perfume or perfumed products to treated area within 48 hours of having a Facial

• Be prepared to see & feel changes to the skin after glycolic facial- do not be alarmed, sometimes the skin looks & feels worse (dry, tight, & peeling) before improvements occur. The complete course of 3 to 6 peels must be completed for full benefit.

• Do not peel flaky skin or squeeze any spots that may appear.

• Do not undertake any other facial skincare treatments within 48 hours of having a Facial

• Where possible use Coating Sealant two times a week to extend the life of your lashes

• It is normal for the client to experience the loss of a few lashes during the first 24hrs after the application

• Be gentle with the lash extensions, avoid tugging and getting them caught on clothes and towels

• Never pull off the eyelash extensions as this will pull out your natural eyelashes

• Gently comb through the lashes each morning to maintain a good appearance

   Massage aftercare advice

• After the Treatment.

• After receiving a Holistic treatment it is very important to rest and relax as much as possible, practice deep breathing exercises and relax your shoulders.

• Drinking plenty of water or even herbal teas will help flush out any toxins released by your treatment, this will help reduce any Contra Actions, making the treatment more beneficial.

• However saying this: It is perfectly normal to feel a little different after receiving one of the treatments it may be one of the following:

• Headache, Nausea, thirst, a sore throat, tiredness, You may need to pass water more. Contra actions put simply mean mild side effects usually can occur

• Break out in spots (Temporarily),
